Going to the beach

 In Mrs.Barkers writing ropu we were doing recount writings about something we did in the past. step1 we had to make a plan on what our writing was going to be about. Mine was about my family and I going to the beach for the day. Step 2 we had to open our device and and write in a google doc.

I enjoyed visualizing and imaging the day we went to the beach. Because it was fun to remember the day well writing the story.

It was challenging to think of some really great words to explain some parts of the recount writing.

Next time I will make my writing more interesting to read.

Save our habitat

In our writing groups we had to pretend to be four different animals in the Australia.Because us people are taking away there home and we needed to write down on how the animals feel.At the end of the writing we put all the animals together.

It was easy to think on how to write and explain how the animals feel because the teacher showed an example.

It was challenging to choose the right animals to make it rhyme.

Next time I will make I more creative.

12 day's of chirstmas

 Today we made a twelve day of kiwi christmas of our own. Firstly we hoped into groups then we worked and agree on what our 12 kiwi christmas lyrics are and what order there going to be.

It was easy and simple to copy and paste the words because some one in our group did most of the work and we only had to write on the next slideshow.

It was challenging to choose the colour of the words to match the background and find some little mistakes on our slide show.

next time I will try and find the mistakes and help my team a bit more.  

Merry Christmas

 We were making a letter for the Gisborne Herald writing what Christmas means to me.Once we were finish we had to make a slideshow animation explaining our Christmas letter to the Gisborne Herald. 

I found it fun and easy to copy and edit my slide's because I only had to move my people a little more into the slide.

It was challenging to to make my own people because the shape would come out wrong sometimes when I use polyline or curve.

Next time I will make my animation a little more creative.

Adjectives

In Mrs.Barker writing group, We made slideshows showing examples about what is an adjectives.The teacher wrote some words to put into a sentence with adjectives.

It was simple and easy to find 2 adjectives to explain what the object looked like and were it was.

It was challenging to think of sentence's to make my 2 adjective before noun and  paint a picture in the reader's mind.

Next I will try add some descriptive words in my sentence.  

Recount

In Mrs.Barker  writing  group, we did a slide about what to include in a  Recount  writing. firstly we watched a video about what a recount writing is to refresh our brains.Then we put what to include in a recount writing on a slide.

It was easy to think about what to include to our slide  because I had some of the words in my head.

It was challenging to find some places to add my words in to the slide .

My writing gaol this term is to keep re reading my work to make sure it's exciting for the reader.  

Rangi and Papatuanuku story

 In my cooperative group we made a ed book about Ranginui and Papatuanuku on a slide show for maori language week.We first agreed on who is sharing the slide show with our group.Then planned on who is doing what part of the story of in the beginning.After our planning we went straight into work.

It was easy to write my part of the story and doing the background because I new the story well and the part I was doing.

It was challenging to make my writing into my own words and making sure it makes sense and polyline Ranginui.

Next time I will try not to waffle my writing to much and go back to re read it in the first place. 

Save our future Environment poster

 In Mrs. Barkers writing group we been learning how to do  persuasive writing.We also been making   poster on what is happening to our environment and how we can help save it.

I found it easy to decorate my mahi because I made the background similar to what my paragraph is about.

It was challenging to find my mistakes in my writing before Mrs.Barker took a look to help fix them because I didn't read them out loud enough to myself to hear them.

Next time I will keep re read my work at least 5 times to make sure it makes sense so it is more understanding.

Persuasive Writing

 

We have been learning how to do persuasive writing.We had to make a plan and think  who we are persuasive is.

It was easy to make my plan because I had all my ideas in my head ready to put in my writing book.

It was challenging to think of the words to explain and spread out my plan more because I couldn't think of some rich sentise to make writing make sense.

Next time I will keep re reading over my work out loud to myself to make sure it make sense.So the reader understand my writing.   

Matariki Report

We were learning about the nine stars of Matariki.
I found it easy to write my Matariki Report because I had planned my Report in my writing book.
I found it challenging to edit my Report because I couldn't  see properly where I made my mistake.
Next time I will re read my Report a few times to check it makes sense. 

Matariki Art

We were learning about the star Matariki and copying one slide on.

I found it easy to  create the slide  because I copied my art from  our room two slide and my paragraph.

I found it challenging to copy my paragraph on to room 2 art slide because it was on view only.

Next time I will wait until the view slide was off.

lumine comic

I was doing a slide show about something i know best. my was about a comic I like  how i tried to make my  diagrame look like a wolf. what i will do next time   is to  try add more to it.

What the story is about:

Ian barker has to spend his brithday with his  sister and their two annoying cousins. Jonny and vinny all was want to play with Ians stuff they take extra turns and break everything they touch. When Ian get’s A  ventriloquist dummy things go from bad to worse.you don’t fight over Slappy, slappy fight over you!

Rating out of ten: 9/10

                                       what we  was doing  was making are own book  
                                       review about the book and the character we were.                                             for   are book character week.what i like is how i                                                 made   the dummy in the book .   what i will do next                                           time is  to try  finish it    at the right time i was given.

The pickle watermelon.

The pickle watermelon.

‘Mmmmm’ the look of the watermelon.it was like a small  triangle red and green.
It feat hard and a bit sticky. When i smell it was like a apple juice. When i open
my big mouth ‘crunch soourp’. in side my mouth i taste little little soft dots in
my mouth i didn't like it so i just look at the pips in sted. Some were brown some
were white. But it  was a bit okay then it look like a triangle without the top on it.
On the outside of the all the pickle watermelon were together.it will look like a
green oval  i toke little nibble on it.

this is my writing and art i really like i did the what it sound,smell,look & felt. next time i will writ more about my writing.

the scary movie of lord of the rings

When my dad put on  a  scary movie it was cold  lord of the rings. It  wasn't  Scary  at the  be  beginning of the movie but  then A girl  put, on a Video so that  Julia can Watch the Video but she run into the Bathroom and she locked it the Videos was almost. to the part when the girl come out of the tv she put  the tv on the the ground but the tv  turn it  South back on. the girl killed the girl who put on the Video but Julia unlock the

 bathroom door. She run to the door but the door was locked so she went to  get the key from the girl gave Julia a Fright she  runde. To the door she unlock the door then a boy came to the door so she  cried and hug the boy. he say it’s okay so they boif walk to the boy house.

When we went  to the farm What we did was we feed the pigs and we had a little play outside  we tried to catch a chicken So we can pat it We help our uncle to kill the pig we for one sleepover  and then we went possum Hunt tang At night And then we went to bed.

When I  wake up we had breakfast  Me and my brother Was riding on the motorbike Around in circles with  are dad on the motorbike We had fun then I have to ride at Bye myself Then I got scared.

Fence I went around in circles. again with  only me on the motorbike. I was still scared but i got  used to it but then i went down the hill on the motorbike Then i cash in the fence and i Started to  cry and got a fright.
